The Shrine of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker

What is St. Nicholas?

St. Nicholas is a house of prayer, charity, social entrepreneurship education, and encounter.

A Place of Encounter

St. Nicholas is a place of encounter which shortens distances and enriches with differences.

A Place of Charity

As the headquarters of St. Paul’s Foundation, an international Orthodox Christian monastic institute with a focus on the most vulnerable in conflict and post-conflict areas, we launched Ryan’s Guitars Project to protect the innocence of children in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

A Place of Prayer

Prayer is the most creative thing we can do. It orients ourselves properly. It allows us to deepen our relationships with the Lord and our neighbors. We pray in private. We pray in public. At St. Nicholas, once completed, we will have services twice a day in the Orthodox Christian tradition. Outside of the divine services, St. Nicholas is a place where anyone can tuck in away from the harshness of the world, light a candle in the chapel against the darkness, say a rpayer, contemplate the holy icons either in the chapel or throughout the complex, and sit quietly in the rose garden dedicated to Our Lady. All are welcome.
