Are monks known for music?

In addition to more usual corporal works of mercy, St. Nicholas supports Ryan’s Guitars Project. This is a program Father Andrew founded, with help from Bob Taylor at the Taylor Guitar Company, to provide the healing power of music to poor, displaced and refugee children in the Middle East (Jordan, Syria and Palestine) and Eastern Europe (Poland and Ukraine).

Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem was the first beneficiary of the program when we built a music program for the Orthodox School System of Jordan.
